About this audiobook
I met a trio of furballs when my BFF was dealing with a demon issue and since then, I can't stop thinking about them.
When the chance to investigate a possessed house appears on my desk-after I filch it from someone else's-I know it's fate we team up again.
However, I might have bitten off more than I can chew, because suddenly my hunky puppies are demanding I become their permanent chew toy.
Me, mated? Eek, but also yum. Did I mention they totally make my body purr?
Before we can indulge in a sweatily-ever-after, though, they'll need to save me from Mr. Peabody's house, because I do believe it ate me.
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Eve Langlais can generally deliver a decent enough story, and while they range from being excellent (such as Delicate Freakn' Flower) to alright (Bunny and the Bear), this one might have actually passed as falling into the latter if I hadn't made the decision to listen to this, rather than just read. The narrator's choice of voices irritated me, especially since the only one that sounded any different from any of the others was for the main character (Brenda). All the male characters just blended into each other, and the one other female character had no difference to her voice, mostly monotone with any surprise/anger barely being audible. There didn't appear to be any attempt keep to any kind of accent. It became a slog, as I gave up trying to distinguish who was speaking when, and though Brenda was extremely sassy, and was therefore an interesting character, the rest of the story just fell flat. it became mostly background noise, and I only finished it so that I didn't have a DNF to add to my collection.I will give the rest of the books in this series a miss, which is a pity as Eve Langlais can usually write a good enough story that keeps me coming back.
