      Deadly Satisfaction is a highly entertaining dishy tell-all of secrets, passions, hopes, dreams, and the most necessary ingredient of betrayals to build emotional intensity into a lively story. It has been two years since Johnny Mayfield’s murder scandalized Amber, Alabama and with his murderer in jail the townspeople have moved on with their lives – enjoying well-won happiness. But as all prepares for a joyous Thanksgiving holiday, a breaking news story will dredge up nightmares. Over the next couple of days individuals will find their lives upturned in unexpected ways as the storyline builds into a nail-biting page turner.Ms. Hickman, a tantalizing storyteller, has a gift for creating dynamic suspense, captivating characters, sharp dialogue, and sultry intimacy which sweeps readers into the story. I appreciated how the author sensitively wrote about the emotional and physically journey of Donetta, a trans woman.Overall this is a stunning tale full of heartache and hope that is constantly suspenseful and satisfying read that will please both fans and new reader.

      Life is brighter for Geneva… She’s remarried, and her business is blooming but in a Trice Hickman novel nothing stays the same for too long. The person accused of murdering Johnny Mayfield (Geneva’s ex) may just be innocent after all. That and series of other occurrences cause Geneva’s foundation to become unstable, and that’s where the drama begins. No one is safe from wrath that’s heading their way!!Author Trice Hickman once again delivers with her brand of conflict, drama, and suspense. Who would think a soft-voiced author could create some of the most colorful characters in the fiction genre. I would like to spend a few hours in her head so I can get the inside scoop before it’s written. Like I shared with a fellow reviewer – Trice Hickman has a gift of giving readers different levels of drama that keeps them on the edge of their seats. There’s never a dull moment in this novel. We all want satisfaction but for some of these characters – their need for satisfaction may be DEADLY!!
