About this audiobook
Across seven tales, Haruki Murakami brings his powers of observation to bear on the lives of men who, in their own ways, find themselves alone. Here are vanishing cats and smoky bars, lonely hearts and mysterious women, baseball and the Beatles, woven together to tell stories that speak to us all. Marked by the same wry humor that has defined his entire body of work, in this collection Murakami has crafted another contemporary classic.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Indeed it was men without men, I really enjoyed these short stories collection.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is one of the best books I’ve read till date
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I appreciated this book. I listened to it, and it kept me engaged and interested. It's a collection of stories about men and the women in their lives; even if the women aren't physically there anymore. The book contained beautiful descriptions of intimate encounters and is a fascinating peek into the characters' minds.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A good changes. It’s nice, I really liked it ❤️
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5My first Murakami book! It was very different and I enjoyed some stories
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I think this is maybe a bit too clever for me and there were messages i just didnt get or understand.
At face value though it was ok. Some stories i wasnt a fan of, others i wish there was more of. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A must read. You end up feeling for Murakami's characters.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A glimpse in to the life's of successful and ordinary men without their women.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Why 4/5 stars, well, 5 are for books I can really relate to on deep intimate levels. 4 (this book) is not a bad book, actually, it's very VERY good. It just doesn't click all buttons for me. This is one of the books I recommend.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be experienced.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another wonderful book from Haruki Murakami. Even without knowing the symbols behind the stories it's still so easy to enjoy them.
