About this audiobook

I sit amongst the Presidents, Royalty, the Captains of Industry, and the wealthiest fucks in the world.

We own Spiked Roses—an exclusive, membership only establishment in New Orleans where money or lineage is the only way in. It is for the gentlemen who own everything and never hear the word no.

Sipping on whiskey, smoking cigars, and conducting multi-million dollar deals in our own personal playground of indulgence, there isn’t anything I can’t have… and that includes HER. I can also have HER if I want.

And I want.

Bastards and Whiskey is a dark billionaire romance. If you don’t like a sprinkle of shock, a dash of taboo, and a heavy dose of sex, then don’t take a sip of this Top Shelf cocktail.

I don’t generally write reviews, but I HAVE to tell someone, anyone how much I currently HATE Anita (main character). She is absolutely insufferable, it’s actually ruining the entire book for me. I honestly don’t think I can listen to much more. She’s absolutely the stupidest bitch in any book I have ever read or listen too. She signs a effing contract despite being warned and warned and even warned again, a contract filled with what is obviously the actual farthest extreme of “ewww” for a sex contract. She says she will do it, even thou warned by everyone, then breaks the contract, steals the money, then acts like she’s justified!?! Like I need to like the characters I am reading about and this bitch makes me want to return her to the maniac who wants to kill her. Ugh!! F*ck this bitch! Sorry for the spoilers but I just need someone to know.

*Update: Yep she’s still so effing insufferable.

Not as good as expected. I can't count the number of times the exact same dialogue was repeated. I stopped counting at 12. I'm thinking the author doesn't think much of the listeners , that we're not smart enough to get a point after five or six repeats. Anyway, there was lots of potential. Hoping the next book is better. The narrators are excellent.

*spoilers* The MC is horrible...and more than naive. She signs a contract after several warnings. Then gets to the part where she needs to fulfill her part in the agreement she bullheadly agreed too. Doesn't like it and instead of using the available safewors that would have stopped the entire play. She goes through with it traumatizing her self and steals the money and runs back home putting the few people who she cares about at risk. Thinking that the dangerous rich man was going to shrug it off and not come after her...
