About this audiobook

ALY

It's been twelve years since I've seen him, but loathing Emmett Hoult still runs in my blood. Thanks to the hell he wreaked on my teenaged life, I've avoided the prick like the plague. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and after a fire destroys my apartment during the most important week of my life, I'm suddenly as desperate as they come.

Hence the roommate situation.

It's his summer home. His family said he wouldn't be around. They said I'd never run into him.

But oh, did I run into Emmett Hoult.

And in the worst way possible.

EMMETT

I didn't expect to see her ever again, let alone the way that I did.

But now that she's back in my life, I'm not screwing things up. She still hates me-I know that-but it won't stop me from chasing the only two goals I've made for this summer.

Making things right.

And making her mine.

Contains mature themes.

I absolutely loved this book! I found myself sneaking away from the kids for a few minutes at a time because I could not stop listening to the audiobook. Emmett and Aly are on fire from the very first page. These two have a long history. They have known each other since they were kids since their fathers were best friends. What started out as a great friendship quickly turned into a rivalry competing for who was better at almost everything.

With the competition, there is also a falling out from some eluded event that we don’t know about. Both Emmett and Aly go through hard times as young adolescents/adults and it only adds to the rift between them. All these years later they happen to meet up again not recognizing each other at first. Aly needs a place to stay, and Emmett agrees to be platonic friends just so he can spend more time with her. However, the more time they spend together the more the tension builds. How long can these two last before things explode between them? When the lines get blurred, will they be able to work through the past and their own issues?

I can’t get over how much I loved this. I have a huge book hangover after this one, and it makes other books pale in comparison. If for whatever reason you don’t want to read the entire series (which is just a dumb thing to even say) pick this one to read no matter what! I do love the side characters that pop up, and can’t really can’t wait to continue the series (like a normal person) to see what else is in store!

Received an ARC at no cost to author..Dirty Deeds heck yeah..This was an enemies to lover, second chance romance, and I loved it..We have a little bit of everything, conflict check, chemistry check and eventually HEA check check check...So Emmett and Ally have known each other most of their lives but they haven't stayed in contact for years and when they finally do, all bets are off. Even thought Ally tried to resist Emmett she really couldn't, their chemistry was combustible. Emmett was not going to give up on having Ally and he was going pursue. Who wins? Well my friends you need to read! Enjoy!
