About this audiobook

Everybody's talking about the hot new app reviewing New York's most eligible bachelors. But why focus on prince charming when you can read the latest dirt on the lowest-ranked "Bad Bachelors"-NYC's most notorious bad boys.

If one more person mentions Bad Bachelors to Reed McMahon, someone's gonna get hurt. A PR whiz, Reed is known as an "image fixer," but his womanizing ways have caught up with him. What he needs is a PR miracle of his own.

When Reed strolls into Darcy Greer's workplace offering to help save the struggling library, she isn't buying it. The prickly Brooklynite knows Reed is exactly the kind of guy she should avoid. But the library does need his help. But as she reluctantly works with Reed, she realizes there's more to a man than his reputation. Maybe, just maybe Bad Bachelor #1 is THE one for her.

I enjoyed but I always wish that we didn't have a man-ho I mean please, please can someone not give me a guy that just sleeps around, is it too much to ask or am I just being unrealistic? Could be..Anywho I have read a fair amount of Stefanie London since I tend to enjoy her, not always but a good amount so I see one of her books and I tend to request and I am glad that I got this one I did laugh. So we meet Darcy and I liked her she was funny and didn't tend to put up with crap and my favorite loved to read (that is so me) so here is this bad ass librarian about to get married when she yup catches her dirt bag of a fiance cheating on her (god I hate that) anywho so it has been a while now and her friends think it is about time for her to get out there and what better way than on an app. So she does and ends up meeting Reed. Reed is not getting very good reviews on this app and he was taking it pretty hard which would surprise you seeing that he seemed so sure of himself. So here comes this hot guy that she recognized from the app and supposedly there to help with her PR problems, of course she is going to dislike him from the get go, but as she spends time with him she realizes that he does not seem the way she expected, there was so much more to the story..So grab a copy and find out what they were.rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions

I thought that this one was fun. This book has been on my radar since it was first published. The cover redesign grabbed my attention again so I decided to move this book to the top of my tbr pile. Reed and Darcy were great together and I loved the chemistry that they shared. I thought that parts of the book were rather funny and had a really good time with it in the end. I am so glad that I finally got around to giving this book a try.Reed is at the top of the list on the Bad Bachelors app. This is an app where women can rate the men they date and Reed has an abundance of negative reviews. This has had an impact on not only his dating life but his professional life as well. Darcy is a tattooed librarian that almost made it down the aisle a year ago and is having trouble trusting someone again. Both Darcy and Reed have some family issues that they are dealing with which were very relatable. These two were great together. I wanted to see things work out for them and felt like they were meant to be.I listened to the audiobook and thought that Kendall Taylor did a great job with this story. I thought that she portrayed a wide range of emotions through her reading. The character voices that she used in her narration were distinctive and believable. I feel that her narration added to my overall enjoyment of this story.I would definitely recommend this book to others. The opening scene of the book was outstanding and grabbed my attention right away. It was easy to get behind these characters as they made their way to their happily ever after. I wouldn’t hesitate to read more of this author’s work in the future.I received a copy of this book from Sourcebooks Casablanca.

You know when they say that first impressions arte very important. Well in this case my first impression was great. I absolutely loved Darcy and Reed. Darcy is not your typical woman. She has tattoos and sass. Reed may be hot to trot but he is smart and underneath his suit is a good guy. Although, you may not get that impression from the reviews on app "Bad Bachelors". The more I got to know of Reed, I actually did feel bad for him with his reputation that he was labeled with. What I liked was that Darcy and Reed did not instantly fall in love. Ok, I have to talk some about the humor. Here is one of my favorite scenes from this book.Darcy and her friends talking about Bad Bachelors:Darcy "So it's Yelp for guys?"Remi "Or Uber?" "You know, go for a ride and then rate your driver". At the beginning of each chapter were comments from women who had dated Reed. They were funny. Here is my comment on this book "Bad Bachelor is a fun romp of pure joy mixed with a dash of humor!"

I love the premise of this book--the idea of an app to rate eligible bachelors is definitely an interesting one, though it's easy to see how it could get out of hand, as it seems to here. I really liked both Darcy and Reed as characters--the prejudices each has about the other going in gives the book a Pride and Prejudice vibe that makes it fun to read. Overall it was cute, though it didn't quite live up to its early promise in the end.A few items that reduced its rating for me:- Reed's hatred of libraries is initially a big deal for him, then virtually forgotten until the very end. The explanation for it doesn't seem to live up to the hype, nor does the fact that he was so dead set against them at the beginning but then it's a non-issue for so much of the book.- What is revealed here of the mystery/drama of the Bad Bachelor app was pretty anticlimactic here and not at all satisfying for the role it plays in making Reed's life fairly miserable. Clearly this is a continuing series, so the app itself will be back again, but still--it felt like it was not enough.- Darcy's a librarian, which is of course awesome, but all she seems to do is shelve books, find mis-shelved books, and plan a single program once. Oh, and tell amusing stories about patrons--which we never get to hear (this I was particularly bummed about). I loved that she personally seemed to break so many of the librarian stereotypes, but our glimpses into her at work were a major letdown in terms of realism. Still, I enjoyed the book and series premise enough that I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the next book in the series.
