About this audiobook

This summer, romance blooms again in Wildstone!

After a difficult few years, Tilly Adams is ready for life to start going right. Though she has a case of first-day nerves teaching art at the local community college, she knows it isn’t anything a few snuggles from her rescue puppy won’t cure. Until she sees Dylan Scott again, her one-time BFF and first love sitting in the front row.

Dylan knows he should’ve left well enough alone, but when he sees Tilly living her dream, he can’t help but make contact. Ten years ago, he left Wildstone and everything in it behind, including Tilly. He had his reasons, but now he wants her back in his life, anyway he can get her.

When Tilly agrees to design the logo for Dylan’s new helicopter touring company, it’s business only . . . until she finds herself falling into his arms once again. Can she possibly open her heart back up to the only man who’s ever broken it? But soon they’re both realizing the truth—love always deserves a second chance.

Not bad, but nothing special! I didn't feel any emotions between main charachters.

Having just finished Lost and Found Sisters, this book was too repetitive, literally replaying the exact same chapters from the previous book.

Even though I didn’t like Tilly’s character in “the Lost and Found Sisters”, I must recognize that this short story about what happens to her and Dylan is romantic and cute. We also get to know what happens to Quinn and Nick which is the cherry on the cake, so if you loved the first book of this series you’ll probably love this sweet sequel of their romance stories.

This was one that I was like..."Begun and DONE"!

Love love LOVED it! It was SO good to be back in Wildstone again, even if only for a few moments, and catching up with Tilly, Quinn, Mick, and Dylan...as well as our fur baby Leo (he is so cute and such a good judge of character!)...was good for my heart. Seriously, you can't help but smile as you read this one, even through the hard memories and difficult time. The addition of what I like to call Tilly-isms was a pleasant surprise as well (wasn't sure we'd be treated to them with the shortness of the tale!).

In the end, the story reminds us that time may pass, circumstances may change, but where it counts...we remain the same...and it's never too late for love! My best suggestion to any potential readers out there is to start with the first Wildstone book...it'll make this short story even sweeter! Oh and yeah, watch our for Leo because while Dylan is certainly attention grabbing, this little fur baby will steal your heart!

I had a really nice time with this novella. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Jill Shalvis and this story had everything I was looking for when I pick up a book with her name on the cover. I loved the first book in this series, Lost and Found Sisters, so I was very eager to return to Wildstone for another story. Once I started reading this story, I simply could not put it down and ended up finishing it with a big smile on my face. This story features Tilly and Dylan, both of whom played a part in the first book in the series. If you haven't read the first book, there is no need to worry because this story can easily be read as a stand alone. This story is set in the future and Tilly and Dylan are both all grown up now. They were both teenagers in the first installment so it was great to see them in adulthood. The story does include flashes from their past which was a really nice reminder for me and readers new to the series will quickly get the background information that they need to enjoy this installment. The characters were great in this story. I loved Tilly and Dylan in the first book and I quickly discovered that I liked the adults they have become. There is a cute puppy in the story that melted my heart from the very beginning of the story. I did think that Quinn seemed a bit over the top in this one but it was all done in fun. I love that humor was flawlessly worked into the story and the quotes at the start of each chapter always brought a smile to my face.I liked Tilly and Dylan together and am really happy that they were able to get their second chance. Although things have not worked out exactly as they had hoped, they have both made the most of the situation they have found themselves in. Their relationship did move pretty fast in this book but that tends to be the case in most novellas. They had fantastic chemistry with each other and their feelings for each other felt very genuine.I would recommend this novella to others. This was a wonderful story filled with great characters, a few laughs, and a touching romance. I can't wait to read more of this great series very soon.I received a digital review copy of this book from William Morrow Paperbacks via Edelweiss.

The Good Luck Sister by Jill ShalvisA Wildstone Novella 1.5I am smiling as I think back over this wonderful story just finished. I can’t think of a better way to have spent the afternoon than to have read about Tilly and Dylan and how they finally had their second chance at love. I remembered them from Rainy Day Friends, book one of the series, and loved them then though they were both so young. They are splendid adults that so deserved their HEA! Okay, when Tilly first lays eyes on Dylan she is NOT thrilled and he has to work his way back into her graces but it is a sweet wonderful story with epigraphs from Tilly at each chapter, flashbacks to ten years before this story takes place that give a feel for their early friendship-love, introductions to Penn & Ric (Dylan’s business partners) that I hope will each get their own books and an update on Quinn & Mick. This book deals with dreams and how we all have them when we are young. It speaks to the fact that sometimes life can get in the way of our dreams. And, it also lets us know that life can be as good as or better than our dreams if we follow our hearts. Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.5 Stars

The Good Luck Sister by Jill Shalvis is a 2018 Headline Eternal publication. This is a follow-up novella to ‘Lost and Found Sisters” featuring Quinn’s sister, Tilly Adams. The last we heard from Tilly, she was an edgy, angsty teenager. But now she is all grown up and teaching a college art class. Sadly, she and her best friend and first love, Dylan, went their separate ways, breaking Tilly’s heart in the process. Suffice it to say that when Dylan shows up in her art class, she’s not exactly overjoyed to see him. But, he needs an advertising logo for his new helicopter tour company, so he approaches her with a job offer she can’t refuse. Once Dylan convinces Tilly to design his logo, he starts to work convincing her to give them one more chance. Will Tilly finally understand that now is their time or is it too late? This is a super sweet story, about two people who were meant for each other, but needed to grow up, find their niche, and work through personal demons before they settled into an adult relationship. Flashbacks give the reader a glimpse into Tilly and Dylan’s teenage relationship and the abusive background Dylan had to overcome. This is an emotional story, but Shalvis has always balanced her stories with a healthy dose of humor. While this is Tilly and Dylan’s second chance story, I have to say Quinn nearly steals the show which her hilarious remarks. The story has a truly funny, but romantic conclusion, and was the perfect HEA ending for this very special couple. I love it!! 4 stars
