The autobiography begins with her life in the Carolinas; follow by a brief summary of her college days, before focusing on the trials and tribulations of her professional career. She acknowledges but skims along the surface of her failed relationships. As she reached the pinnacle of her career at the end of the book, this reader was left wondering if she thought her professional career was worth it. The photographic section provided context and supported the material presented.
