About this audiobook
Morality is dead in this modern retelling of the hero's descent into the underworld set within an exploration of the dark arts of near-future technological surveillance.
Archetypal monsters like the Sphinx, Minotaur, and Medusa are instantiated as deeply wounded human beings doomed to resolve their personal trauma inside the dramatic scope of an underground battle for the soul of modern technology.
Characters captured by the power of their own delusions and the seductive temptations of incomplete ideologies, attempt to assert righteousness without wisdom in a story where everyone believes they do the right thing.
It explores how ideas can dictate our actions, it purposefully evokes contrarian considerations, and it reveals the dark path where those excluded from society may be lead if there is no road for redemption.
In this speculative psuedo-realist world where adherence to technological propaganda has infiltrated every facet of society, good words like "Social Justice" are twisted and corrupted, serving as a smoke screen of virtue to misdirect prying eyes and manipulate the good intentions of failed Techno-Utopian founders whose useful skills have been driven underground to provide violence without consequence to the seekers of absolute power.
A morality play, cautionary tale, and modern myth all in one, this story may be the final motivation you need to understand the dark arts of modern media manipulation.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I honestly didn’t know what to expect reading this. I was glad I was pleasantly surprised by it. There were enough twists and turns to keep you on your toes. I did not expect one of the twists though, so that was a nice to be caught off guard. Kept the story fresh. The audio for the book was done by the Author, have to say it was really well done.
