About this audiobook

Wildcat: a football formation in which the ball is snapped, not to the quarterback, but to another player lined up in the quarterback position.

Wild, Cat: a beautiful woman from the sky, who hooked me against the rails, and has me on the ropes. Sweet like honey, with a hint of sass burning behind her pretty brown eyes, she took over my heart without warning.

I'm Quinn Bailey, quarterback for the New York Mavericks. Sports analysts predicted I'd break records and take my team all the way.

But no one predicted this.

And just like the other team, I never saw it coming.

I fell in love with Quinn in the Billionaire series and this book confirmed my feelings. Another Max Monroe I just can’t walk away from til the end.

Good narration, the southern accent wasn’t awful or grating, well written, although a little drawn out never drags or gets boring, does however feel skating over serious issues with any resolution (parents should have been strongly confronted, at have consequences) hope we get updates as series continues, wish Casey & Denv would have clicked

(Quinn & Cat): TRIGGERS: bigotry. Finally, a black female lead and she's not the typical angry black female. I love that. I have to say though, this book was not my favorite from MM. It was a slow burn for starters but then it felt a little repetitive with the constant flights back and forth. Now I know that only makes sense since she's a flight attendant but I felt they should've focused more on the dates or even the football aspects of the story. I loved Quinn, he was such a good match for Cat, though I felt like he was a little naive about his parents. Story was ok.

I enjoyed the story…the author created a romance that dealt with real-life issues. It’s not too heavy, although the topic is important. As most audiophiles, I have my favs among narrators, as well as my pet peeves. I have to commend the male narrator for a one of the better Southern accents I’ve listened to…as a Southerner, I’ve heard many butcher it, so this was a pleasant surprise. Both narrators did a great job!
