    Now at the vigorous twilight of my career, I have nothing left to prove, and time has both enlightened and humbled me. He has reported extensively on the Arab–Israeli conflict and other armed conflicts around the globe, including the 2003 invasion of Iraq, one of eleven extended assignments there.
