      Decent series start. Do not understand why Amazon reviews were so excited about Gabe, he could not be blander, and he doesn't do anything except be present. This made the middle of the book drag, after a really interesting start, but luckily the end pulled through, even if it did feel a little too neat and rushed. Interested in seeing where this goes.

      ALN did it again! I was excited to know that this is a spin-off of my favorite series ever, The Caged Series and it did not disappoint. Like all of ALN books, this book is certainly a page turner packed with action and a heart-stopping roller coaster ride. Sapphira, in my opinion, is one of the strongest badass heroine in all of books that ALN have written. It's interesting to see how her character would develop. How much stronger would she be? And of course those interesting characters that surround her: her brothers Nico and Alek; the heartthrob Gabe; and the mysterious TS. I'm eagerly waiting for the next book!
