I gave this a go as I've read some of Sherryl Woods' other books and really enjoyed them. This was OK, but I guessed the secret between the leading lady and the director, very early on. It's not quite a romantic story but neither is it a believable detective story. It didn't seem credible to me, that Molly would be able to run rings around two different police departments, tracking down witnesses and getting them to tell her their stories. Also I found the whole, men pining over beautiful women who themselves are pining over unworthy men, predictable. As was, the male lead with a secret and the aging ex-alcoholic actress meeting her new beau in rehab.
