About this audiobook

A wrong number is supposed to be just that-a wrong number.

Delete. Done.

Do not continue to text. Do not flirt.

A wrong number shouldn't be the first person on your mind in the morning, or the last at night . . . and you're definitely not supposed to talk them into buying a baby goat.

Because that would be weird.

When Zach Hastings and I get into a wrong-number mix-up, we don't follow the rules. We keep texting and flirting, because he's wicked funny and perfectly nerdy and a wonderful distraction.

I'm not looking for love, and Zach definitely had the wrong number.

But maybe . . .

Maybe he's the right guy.

Contains mature themes.

Absolutely loved the story but the ending was lacking, like the author was in a rush to finish and left 'what happens now questions'

I really liked this book, especially the character's banter, and how the ex-BF was a good guy. But a few things really threw me...
    [Spoilers!!]
The way the book started was kinda a bummer- it detailed the meet cute and breakup of her then BF. It was kind of a long exposition for setting up his character, and it left me feeling for their breakup.

The intimate scenes were steamy, but didn't seem to add to their story IMO. They constantly joked about sexting but...never actually did. And their last intimate moment was ruined by a goat, and we never saw the conclusion.

And probably the main complaint... Zachs' brother spread Deliah's nudes around the school by stealing Zachs phone and snooping through it. I felt most of the blame for their fight was placed on Deliah's assumptions and not Zach 1. not immediately deleting very private pictures, per her request, 2. his lack of phone security (especially for a tech guru), and 3. his phone being left unnatended long enough for his brother to steal it. I don't think Zach took nearly enough blame, or tried hard to understand why Dahlia reacted like she did.

To end it all, I don't feel like the loose ends were wrapped up as good as they could have been- I still have a lot of questions about their future! They didn't even officially exchange I-love-yous!

Again, I really loved the plot, the banter, the characters. Definitely above average characters. I wanted to like it more than I ended up liking it.

It was a sweet story but a tad boring. The characters were really good together but there wasn’t a lot going on.

This was my second time listening to this book, and both times I was getting side eyed by my husband from laughing out loud obnoxiously. It doesn’t have much drama, until the end. it’s sweet and silly, and a good book to listen to when you need a smile… but I must warn you, you will want a baby goat. Trust me.

okki don't let the cover fools you.... this book is nothing but ADORABLE... really barely any angst... it's just a little adorable book of "i wish this was true and happening to me... but i know real life sucks"

Enjoyed this book even though I did get tired of the texting, yeah I know that is the premise. Anyhoo did like Zach and Zach and Delia and liked that she and Caleb were able to remain friends.

This was very cute but was also too cute which made it unrealistic and slightly annoying. I did enjoy reading it, but the snark was off the charts. Maybe I’m too old for this because it didn’t feel like there was much character development with either Delia or Zach, but they were just there and perfect for each other. Also her roommate was annoying and unlikeable to me, so I doubt I’ll read the next book which is about her.

    Goat Baby Mama Goals

I love Rom-Coms, but rarely do they make me bust a gut laughing out loud. I cannot tell you how many times I guffawed while reading this book. Considering I have a laugh loud enough to wake the dead, this led to some awkward moments when I was listening to the audiobook while shopping. Whoops! I’m off to try to convince my hubby that I NEED baby goats in my life.
