This is only Part 1, so it ends in the middle of the story. Also, the narrator has a British accent, which sometimes made me forget the story is set in America.

    This was...okay.

I actually enjoyed both of the movies better. Rare, I know!

I don't know, I just felt like it was long and I sort of lost interest about half way through.

Regardless, I did enjoy the prolonged scene of Meg being "Daisy" and we actually saw Beth with the dolls as opposed to just being alluded to in the movies.

    Note: Their names:

Margaret, Josephine, Elizabeth...and then just Amy. It was like their Mom just got tired after the fourth daughter and was like Well, they all go by shortened names anyways, may as well name this girl Amy. ?

I still don't care for Amy much. Oh well.

I still feel like Laurie should have wound up with Meg.

Also, Beth didn't die in this one? I suppose that happens in the next book as they were all older when she died? I won't be continuing, so I suppose that will remain a mystery. Meh.

I didn’t know it was a part one until the very end and I wasted a whole day listening to this when I could’ve watched the two hour movie ????

It is okay- just very old fashioned in a variety of views which made it challenging to sit through.
