Andrew stutters, and it gets worse when he is nervous. It is his first day at a new school, so he is very nervous. Lara is very shy and doesn't talk much to anyone. Carly teases both of them and hurts their feelings. They both ask to speak to the class and tell everyone how they feel. Carly is made to realize that what she said to be funny hurt their feelings, and she apologizes to them.
