      Starting to feel formulaic. The injury/danger ante for the denouements keeps ratcheting up and I don't see how that's sustainable. I hope in future books she's found that we don't need a desperate fight scene at the end to be satisfied.

      All her books have the same ending. The heroine of the story faces off with the bad guy ALONE because she can't wait for backup.
