      I’m really liking this series of books. They are good for all ages and kind of people. Some chunks of texts are little bit mature, but nothing too hard for adolescents to read or listen. I recommend it.

      The story is good but it’s poorly written: very repetitive „I knew I would die here“ like every chapter

      I'll stop here reading this series. The subject of the story could be interesting if presented otherwise, but the style is primitive, sentences like produced by a simple text generator. Battles described all the time with the same text blocks and repeated as in the first two books the same pattern of ups and downs. Really a very pathetic text. It reminds me also of the worst examples of German literature favored by the Nazis, Blood, and Honor, with very tiny amounts of true human emotions. This literature at that time was part of the Nazi propaganda machinery and caused innumerable cruel deaths. So for me this was it from this author.

      Though I can see peoples view on the repetitiveness of the layout and structure of each chapter, I personally find the story to keep a certain amount of action packed interest. This interest far outweighs any grammatical or structural errors. In addition the narrator has a special ability to portray the various character's emotions, which complements the story very well. I will be sad when I finish this series. It is a very good story.

      Love this is the 3rd series of books I've listened to from Morgan rice, and it remind me of one of the other series but still great in its own way. The narrator is really great at reading these, makes it 100 times better.

      Well, it is very sad for the fighters to have work so hard and only to be betrayed by their own people and fighters. It is even very wrong to have all their hope and faith taken away. I want to find out what becomes of this family and the faith of their people. What a faith for the little girl to have ended up the way she did.

      Needs more character development. Needs more believable rules of engagement. The giant digging up was terribly depicted. Some of the meditation scenes were rough too. The fighting scenes lacked logistics. But all in all I enjoyed the setting and the adventure without eroticism. Thankful for that.

      Omg at first i though the book was great then it just got annoying and corney. My god how many times can one book say "who are you?" Ugh it got so freaking annoying that i got more irritated as the series went on now im on book 4 and its just going down hill fast. I get the writer was trying to be mysterious but it fell short and just became annoying. Im trying to stick with it but im pretty over it. Ready to stop reading! Stop the stupid "who are you" writers its cringy and annoying

      Very boring first 25 or so chapters. finally getting to its potential in the last 10 chapters. It finally became more realistic and original rather than sounding like a melodramatic "i'm going to die....oh, look I'm now saved!" plotline every chapter.

      imitation is the highest form of flattery, Ms. rice is a george r.r. martin knock off. amazing how she literally copied G.O.T. wow !!!! third book in and I'm rooting for the bad guys. I'm reading this book now just for the laughs. i can't take her (author) seriously.
