About this audiobook

The girl next door. Pretty. Sweet. Kind. Submissive. Until I met her, I was alone with the dark desires that I didn't understand, that I couldn't reconcile. She became my best friend, and then she became so much more. Desire. Disgust. Shame. Dominance. I wouldn’t have survived until college without her. When we were together, I was at peace for the first time in my life. But it was too good to last. Our appetite for pain and pleasure destroyed us. And all the drinks in the world weren’t enough to get used to missing her. On the verge of earning my degree, Ana walks back into my life, those gray-blue eyes still able to see right through me. It’s the chance I’ve been waiting for. One last chance to overcome my shame. If only it were that easy.

Amazing. Both narrators are fantastic, would highly recommend it. Great balance between spicy and plot.

So much angst and heartache and spice. A really enjoyable read.

Amazing story. It was heart-wrenching how the main characters struggled so much with the fear and shame of what they desired sexually. Fearing what others would think and how it ultimately affected so many of their own decisions. The relationship between the main characters was beautiful and heartbreaking and spicy, and loved that they found their HEA.

This was my first book read by this author and I am so glad that i found it. I loved it. Being a self-proclaimed teenage angst lover, this book had it all. All the angst, all the drama, all the love and all of the tears. It was so good. The story felt real to me, like this is how I imagine that some people who live an “alternative” lifestyle or have any type of “taboo” kinks, may internalize these things. These two characters start discovering what makes them different in their teens and from the beginning they both realize how others may perceive them. Which would be less than favorable. My heart broke for Anna and her desire to be and live a normal life.
