About this audiobook

Eva Taylor has been locked in an attic for four years.

Failed by the foster system, and left in the hands of a woman who hates her, and a man who wants her, Eva has given up hope of ever having a life.

When she finds a mysterious letter from Rothmore College addressed to her in the trash, Eva's future suddenly comes alive. Now all she has to do is figure out a way to escape her attic prison, make her way across the country to New York City, and figure out all the things that point to the fact that she isn't exactly normal . . .

Along the way Eva meets new friends, explores new places, and stumbles across three beautiful, charismatic, and alarmingly otherworldly men. Do they hold the key to Eva discovering who she really is, or are they just good at first impressions?

Contains mature themes.

The back story... The h is essentially being held captive by very mean foster parents who keep her hidden from the world by home schooling her. She excels and one day, finds a trashed acceptance letter offering a full ride scholarship to a top tie college. She is able to escape and makes her way to New York to attend school. She meets the H's and falls in lust with all three.

Romance or Gist: All lust and build up in this story

The drama explosion... The H (Damon) is seen in a compromising situation which is not what it appears to be but the h runs away and won't hear him out.
Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Contrived
    Was it OTT? Very
    Separation involved? Yes
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Ok

Final Notes... A few things are bothering me.
    1. The Reverend is very creepy... Ew!
    2. She gets to NY and she is so beautiful that people just give her stuff. She gets a job and is immediately working at a restaurant and gets $1400 in tips to split with her trainer.
    3. Almost all of the women hate her and men drop everything for her. I know that this part is leading towards her supernatural capabilities but it would have been helpful if the narrator had done a prologue with a flashback detailing a bit about the h.

Good short read. Not too much of a plot yet but I’m sure it will develop in the second book.
