To his surprise, the only survivor is a female prisoner who emerges from the wreckage with an unrestricted gun-easily the most valuable thing in all of zone four. His plan is to seduce the gorgeous new inmate and steal the gun once she's fallen for him.

    But before long, Jai realizes he's falling for his prey-and that Rayla may be the only woman on the entire planet he can never have . . .

      This is the third book in the Burke Brothers series. Just like the first two books, I completely adored this book! There is something about Emma's writing that makes band books so much more entertaining than many of the others I have read in the past.

      Although, I found some parts of this story a little predictable, there is nothing wrong with a little predictability. It flows better in this story. The characters were likable and witty. The chemistry between them is so well identified in Emma's writing that I didn't want the book to end. I could read the witty and steamy relationship of these two for days.

      This book is a standalone, but I do suggest reading the books in order. There are things in the first two books that are important to understanding this book. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series!
