      Terrible book. She has 3 minute descriptions on insignificant characters. The main plot is weak and the story was boring. I gave up at chapter 62.

      Okay that was bonkers. I was enjoying it quite a bit until the end, and then… what the actual….? I don’t know man.

      Some of her books are good but this one isn't. The plot and ending were ridiculous. The main character is also not one you can root for (as an adult). She stays confused and everything makes her "physically sick". You want to shake her to and have her go to the police already. Her secret wasn't that terrible that she'd be compelled to figure things out on her own. It was truly a feat to finish this book. That being said, the narrator is fantastic as always. Her ability to switch between accents is flawless.

      This audiobook held me in its grip from start to finish, but I couldn’t have guessed the startling and creepy ending. Extraordinary narration with best production values and actress I’ve ever come across. Brilliant and horrible.

      It is suspenseful but I struggled with several depictions of horrible child abuse and sexual violence. Just be warned before you pick up to read.

      Great book so many unexpected twists and turns. My jaw literally dropped open towards the end!

      Now that was a surprise ending. I totally did not expect what happened but it was definitely a great ending. In my mind I had a totally different theory throughout most of the book. It keeps it interesting though to find out how wrong you are and how the author manages to keep THE secret A big secret.

      This book was fantastic! The twist came and I could not even speak! I had to rewind several times for it to process. Amazing! Plus, I love the fact that after the twist was delivered there was more book!!! Usually when there is a major plot shift the book then ends..not in this case!!!

      Another great novel by Alice Feeney. I really enjoyed this story and I did not see the twist at the end. I can't wait Until her next book comes out.

      Great read,I love it Surprise ending.Narrator was the best. Will be reading more by this author.
