About this audiobook

Imagine this. You're ready to leave after a one-night stand, and you're figuring out how to-shock horror-leave your number and ask him to be your fake boyfriend for your sister's wedding this weekend. When he wakes up.

Well, that happened to me. And over coffee and omelets, I found myself a date.

Which was how I ended up arriving at the wedding with a guy I knew nothing about. I didn't know his last name, or how we met, or how long we'd been dating. I didn't know where he grew up, what he'd majored in in college, or how many siblings he had. I sure as hell didn't know he was Adam Winters, hotshot hockey player-and not only my father's favorite player, but my little nephew's freakin' idol. Which means I'm in trouble. Big, big trouble.

My mother is suspicious, my sister is bridezilla on crack, and my grandpa will tell anyone who'll listen about his time in Amsterdam's Red Light District.

Four days. I have to keep this up for four days, and then Adam and I can return to our regular lives, where we don't have sex whenever we're alone and my family isn't interrogating him over his intentions with me.

At least, that's the plan. And we all know what happens to those.

Contains mature themes.

I really enjoyed the story and the narrators were excellent. However, what's with the cutting off of words at the end of chapters? I don't know if it's a Scribd thing or the audiobook producers, but it's damn annoying.

Four Day Fling had me cracking up from the start.

Poppy and Adam are hilarious from start to finish. The whole story is actually and the steam between these two is off the charts. Poppy has no idea who she's slept with, only expecting it to be a one-night stand until she remembers she needs a date to her sister's wedding. So why not ask the guy she's probably never gonna see again after.

The thing is everyone knows Adam since he's a famous ice hockey player and everyone in Poppy's family, apart from Poppy, loves ice hockey. The four-day wedding couldn't go any better for these two as they battle their way through the chaos that is Poppy's family while also becoming more than just a fling.

I absolutely adored this book and binge-read it in no time.

Great book, fun story. But I wished that the male narrator sound more appealing. It would have been better then. The female narrator made the male voice in his character sounded better.

I downloaded the book, and it was still lumpy, and sometimes it jumps to random places. I gave up in chapter 7, to many disruptions..

From what I heard, it sounded like a fun book.

Such a hilarious and fun read! This book is filled with humour and great outtakes, as a seemingly unlucky lady battles her way through the 4 day wedding from hell. It all starts with needing a date to appease her unruly mother and finishes with a stubborn woman trying to fight what life has in store for her. The story is filled with lots of funny moments, embarrassing times, sexy encounters and a man so hot she can’t seem to help but melt into his arms like butter. When you throw that together with the hodge lodge, difficult family she has, this story is really chaos, a clever blend of chaos called life and it is brilliant. You are definitely never left feeling bored, and I loved that. The character are lovely. I really felt the two main characters Hart created for us complimented each other, and really rounded out the cast, of the book. The family had a brilliant blend of crazy and overbearing, which was perfect, as they were all very different, but all had a similar effect on our leading lady. The pace was great, as it moved swiftly, to perfectly match the pace of what would happen at a wedding and in life. It definitely made the story more real and believable, which meant the pages flew by and I read it without ever wanting to put it down. Overall, a brilliant story and one I highly recommend, especially if you love hilarious reads about hotties and ladies who are stubborn, hot-messes and get the ride of their life. ;)
