About this audiobook

It has been two years since the Shift-when most technology stopped working, and the laws of physics changed. Humanity has been brought to its knees. Like other survivors, Noah Henson has heard rumors of the Aelves. Among other guesses, predatory aliens seem as good as any other theory for what caused the Shift.

But for Noah, everything else takes second place to survival, sometimes even self-respect . . . or any sort of decency. Lawless, post-apocalypse America had forced Noah to make many difficult decisions, and he has never seemed to choose correctly. However, despite hating himself, he doesn't have the strength or the courage to change.

He will get a lucky break in a big way, though-a mysterious orb with otherworldly power.

In time, perhaps Noah will find another path. And if he does die during the Shift, maybe it won't be the end of his story. Sometimes, another chance can be an opportunity for redemption.

The start is interesting and it ends well, but everything in between could have been summarised in one or two chapters.

Apocalyptical - but hope in the form of a “worm” who gets reborn as Noah to save the world from men eating aliens.

Cool and consistent story, believable characters and world.
No annoying LITRPG usual level up and character spec nonsense, which some authors use to fill some pages with irrelevant information.
I loved the story and I am now downloading the 2nd part!

Thanks for writing this story and I wish you a lot of readers, which I can only encourage to give it a try!

The initial storyline is set in a post-apocalyptic world. Where human technology has reverted to Stone Ages where there is no technology. But due to some mishap, he travels back in past to prepare civilization for a future invasion. After that, the plot goes downhill.
But the later story went downhill as the protagonist should be a mean battle-hardened manipulative SOB. But he becomes misunderstood jolly good do-gooder.
That whole ARC with Interpol just seemed stupid. It serves only the purpose of making contact with the protagonist with the other 2 geniuses.
Had he been a real genius then he would have made some backup plan or an ace with him if things got sour with Interpol. But when things gotten heated with Interpol then the protagonist just seems lost for words.
His act for father figure approval from the head of MAYWEATHER head initially seems farse but later it turned true by the way author acts.
