      Broday creates the perfect blend of romance, family, and adventure. Another fun book in her Texas Heroes Series. To Catch a Texas Star follows Marley Rose and Roan’s story. You may remember Marley Rose as the cute little girl from Duel’s story, but she’s all grown up now. After rescuing Roan, they’re thrown into a whirlwind of love and danger. A group of bandits are wrecking havoc on the towns, from killing innocent people to stealing Duel’s cattle. One of them is connected to Marley’s past and will stop at nothing to have her. With the help of Duel and his ranch hands, Roan fights to keep Marley safe and get justice for those (especially his friend) they hurt. One thing I love about Boday’s writing is how easy it is to connect to the characters. I loved both Marley Rose and Roan. Duel and Jessie also play important roles in this book and I loved reconnecting with them too, but this could be read as a stand-alone and still be enjoyable.ARC provided for honest feedback.
