      I found the narration of this book very odd almost as though it was one long sentence.
      I love Nick Louth’s books but, I stopped listening to this one because the reader, for me was almost monotone.

      The reading had a lot of background noise that made it difficult to hear over speakers in the car.

      This audiobook was ruined for me by the narrator whose pronunciation was very poor.
      He mispronounced place names : Crowthorne, Berkshire, Hertfordshire but also
      Nitric acid
      Wagner (the composer)
      Asked (pronounced axed throughout)
      Voluminous (pronounced volumous)

      This annoyed me and proved to be a distraction from the story. It did not sound like a professional product.

      Worst Narrator. Couldn't finish it because of him. Aksked.........Ecscorted...........Really !!
      Appallingly read as well.
      Such a shame because the other Nick Louth books are very good and with excellent narration.
