- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Chidera Eggerue offers readers concise, honest advice - and teaches how to cultivate a strong sense of self. Her work is informed by her Igbo heritage, and proverbs (plus a modern interpretation) are scattered throughout. She breaks down the factors that keep us from being our authentic selves - whether that is through privilege, racism, emotional inavailability or people pleasing.
