About this audiobook
While singleness is often widely misunderstood by many in the church today and often viewed in negative terms, the Bible speaks about it very differently. Relying on that biblical viewpoint, this book sets forth a positive vision of singleness by responding to seven common misconceptions, such as the notion that singleness is too hard, requires a special spiritual gift, is a hindrance to ministry, or is a waste of sexuality. Addressed to the church as a whole and written by a single pastor, 7 Myths about Singleness will help listeners better understand, support, and empower the singles around them to contribute to the flourishing of the church as a whole.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Sam gives a true, honest and authentic glimpse into his experience of singleness. He is able to give voice to many others who walk the same path, vitally opening up the discussion and bringing challenge to the wider church on both marriage and singleness. By upholding the values of both and highlighting the struggles of both he strikes an essential balance, which has long been abandoned by many in the West. Whether you’re married or single this book is excellent and comes highly recommended!
