      I like how the author constantly brings in personal emotions in real life battles within how to love your family and be a part of them and also how a job can give a person purpose. This book really focused on the relationships that Kate, the main character has within her life. Beyond that the book was a great thriller and had a pretty messed up but also true villain. Can’t wait for the next one.

      4.5/5! I loved it. It was gruesome, a quick read, and a wonderful tale of cat and mouse with a twist! As I knew what was to come in the end, I still was on the edge of my seat and interested at the turn of events! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5/5 is the lack of character build for the other characters in the story (background) in which I think the short chapters could afford. However, I loved the protagonist’s build of her past and how she has to step into the thoughts of her antagonist(s), in which made her really successful yet also it became her breaking point. Also, I don’t know if it’s because I read too many mysteries and thrillers, but I knew where the end was headed, yet, it wasn’t exactly where I predicted the story to go though!!!

      I haven’t been this bored listening to a book in a long time. The writing is simplistic and the narration reminds me of reading nighttime stories to children.
      Additionally, I found myself disliking the main character, waffling between her old career and personal life.

      Basically good but not well researched. FBI wouldn't take out a knee. Shoot to kill only, center mass or head. Also a little too smarmy at times.
