In his teenage years he began to have a passion for the works and styles of the French writers Al...view moreNicholas Rogers was born during the severe winter of 1962 in Ross-on-Wye, England. In his teenage years he began to have a passion for the works and styles of the French writers Albert Camus and Guy de Maupassant. He is also heavily influenced by the cinema of the French New Wave film director Francois Truffaut. He completed a BA Honours degree in French at University College, Cardiff in 1986. In August 1995 he married his wife Primrose, a Pakistani born woman from a minority Catholic background. Their daughter Manisha was born in May 1997. He currently lives in London.view less
