After fifteen years with the Marines, he returned to civilian life. He served three tours in Vietnam.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/American History, and a Master of Arts Degree in Administrative Services from Northern Michigan University, in Marquette, Michigan. He currently lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.view less
