He graduated from Washington & Lee University and received an MFA in Fiction at the University of Virginia. His fiction has appeared in The Greensboro Review, Shenandoah, The Blue Moon Review, The Mississippi Review Online, and most recently in the magazine Brain, Child. His nonfiction has appeared in The Washington Post. He currently lives on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, with his wife, the writer Jennifer Howard, and their two children.view less
