I was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was adopted at the age of five with my brother and sister. I lived there until I was six, then moved to Long Island. Shortly after, my family moved to Sims...view moreI was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was adopted at the age of five with my brother and sister. I lived there until I was six, then moved to Long Island. Shortly after, my family moved to Simsbury, Connecticut.
I attended Plymouth State University (although at the time it was Plymouth State College) and studied both English and Spanish. After spending a semester in Seville, Spain, I decided my talents were with English Literature. In 1998, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature.
I currently reside near Portland, Maine with my significant other and our cat.view less
