He has been published in the Wall Street Journal as a “Top Criminal Attorney in Florida;” by Florida Trend magazine as one of “Florida’s Legal Elite in Criminal Law”, an honor bestowed by Florida Bar peers representing less than 2% of all Florida Bar members; chosen as a “Florida Super Lawyer” in White Collar Criminal Defense; selected for membership in the National Trial Lawyers “Top 100 Trial Lawyers;” and an AV Prominent peer-rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell.His high profile clients have ranged from murderers to international drug kingpins to politicians, bank presidents and fellow lawyers charged throughout the United States. He was appointed by the Chief Judge of the Miami-Dade Court system to investigate a large hospital for allegations of abuse on the elderly. His work helped lead to reforms in the care of the elderly.
