Since retiring from a forty-two year career in information technology, he has served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, taught English in China, completed a doctorate in religious studies, and played piano and trumpet in various jazz groups and for worship in Lutheran, Methodist, and Christian Science churches. Most recently, he has turned his attention to writing fiction and poetry. He and his wife Annette live on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.view less
