Hall-Haynes, has been an educator and trainer for more than 40 years. She is co-founder and senior partner of her education and training consulting firm, EBH &T Associates, where she provides web development, instructional design, and technology training services to clients.
Dr. Hall-Haynes is a graduate of Alabama State University (B.S., 1972); Antioch University (M.A., 1977); and George Mason University (Ph.D., 2007). She was a teacher, Technology Integration Education Specialist, and Performance Evaluation Program Specialist in the Alexandria City Public Schools in Alexandria, VA for about three decades before retirement. Many of the students, teachers, administrators, and other staff she taught and trained referred to her as a “teacher’s teacher” and a “trainer’s trainer”.
She is an active member of Oakland Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., as well as a board member of Project Discovery Alexandria. She enjoys giving back to the community and working with Vacation Bible School and dropout and truancy intervention projects.
Writing this manual is an outgrowth of Dr. Hall-Haynes’ desire to assist senior citizens and to help her mother learn how to use the iPad and iPhone. Her mother always finds a way to inspire her. Designing and developing this manual has been a pure joy for her as she drew on her many years of experience in technology to make it simple, seamless, and fun.view less
