I've always been a reader and thought that one day I'd give the writing a go myself. The arrival of a family seemed to prompt that and a few years ago I started writing regularly, but just for myself.
When I completed the fourth book I thought that it would be a good idea to 'man up' and let others know what I was up to otherwise i might end up a frustrated typist with a warped sense of humour and no audience apart from the cat.
I live in the South of England with wifey, my two boys and two cats...and I mustn't forget the fish, 'Bob'.
I run, cycle, swim, was a martial artist for my formative and character building years and that took me to Japan where training reached a hiatus and I was never the same when I returned home.
Work is tedious, life is too short, so I try to find beauty and inspiration in the most simple of things. Leaves, the sea, nature, tree hugging and cycling...it's all on our doorstep and it's fantastic but I think modern society takes too much for granted...it's not just about Xbox and Sky...
