During his 25 years of service with the Defence Forces he was stationed at the Curragh of Kildare: in the Signal Corps, as Head of the Audio-Visual Department and as a lecturer in media studies at the Military College. He also served on tours of duty to the Middle East and Rwanda. Following his retirement he worked with RTE as a reporter and researcher. In the year 2000 he returned to Rwanda working with Refugee Trust International. He is a regular visitor to Africa both as a traveller and voluntary worker. Frank was born in Sligo and lives in Ros an Mhíl in Co. Galway. He is a regular correspondent on Defence and Foreign Affairs on RTE Raidio na Gaeltachta and on TG4. This is his first book.view less
