Over time, he began to feel an extreme amount of frustration due to a lack of success in his own job searching experience. Scott continued to hear more similar stories from friends, family, and acquaintances that also were also experiencing feelings of shame, anger, and lowered self-worth resulting from continued rejection from employers, and an inability to adequately provide for oneself. Scott gradually discovered that he wasn’t alone, and he wanted to make a difference to help other people in this particular struggle.
The decision to write his first publication “The Job Inner-View” came to him as sort of an epiphany one morning in late 2012, as he wanted to write about all the different successful and creative methods he had used to find work in hopes that it could help encourage and inspire the many other people adjusting to the same types of “contemporary changes in job searching” he had abruptly discovered for himself.
Throughout the course of writing both his publications, he interviewed various well known and highly experienced industry experts; gaining both insight and feedback on how one should go about finding work in today’s economy, as well as job seekers he interviewed who found successfully found work in their desired industry.
