I attended Baptist H...view moreHello, my name is Richard Shine. I am a writer. I was born and raised in poverty and still in poverty. I live in Charleston SC. I was moved from NY as a child. I attended Baptist Hill High School. I finished in 1977 and in 1982 I became a writer. Why? Because of poverty, it became my way to escape all misery. I have been writing ever since and now I have books up to my ears. I have 3 books published, The Charleston9, The Emanuel9, Your Gold Mind, all at a bookstore near you. Thank you.
