He wanted to be a veterinary surgeon and studied hard at school, it was not easy, but managed to get the necessary grades to go to the Royal Veterinary College for six years to train as a Veterinary Surgeon and passed out in 1964. He ran a very busy Veterinary Practice in Orpington for 25 years then disaster struck and he went down with an antibiotic resistant infection embarrassingly in the prostate gland. Antibiotic resistance is very common now but unheard of then. It killed all the cows on the farm he had been treating and had contacted the infection from and he was getting worse and he had little time to live. He had to throw everything away and go back to the Mediterranean basin to try to find a new antibiotic to save his own life. He was successful and is now a ripe old age of 75. During this search he became fascinated with herbal medicine and found many very successful botanical specimens that cleared those middle and old age diseases that were intractable to modern traditional and herbal medicine. These diseases in fact often killed or crippled the patient despite treatment. He decided to do a herbal diploma at CNM college Dublin which Qualifies you to practice human herbal medicine. This is a four year course but the college allowed that aged student to complete the course in three years due to the biomedical background. During the time at college he found with the help of the students a powerful herbal mixture that killed all viruses that were available without harming the host. The consumption of certain Chinese mushrooms prevent the patient from developing the common cold and flu by stimulating the immune system, they really do work. He experimented and found that the common English field mushroom did exactly the same if consumed continuously, unknown anywhere. They have to be eaten every day but the author does not care, for two years he has not had a common cold or the flu and amazing advantage since he suffers always very badly from them and knew that in the end they would be his end, as with so many people in their 70’s. Chinese mushrooms are very expensive also, these are not. At 74 he developed very early diabetes 2 as most of us do and since it is weight dependent decided to slim down from 11st 2lb to 9st 8lb his boxing weight at school. He could not diet because the hunger crises were too strong and still at college went on the search for hunger suppressants which were safe for him and allowed him to lose that weight in comparative comfort over a six week period. A few are completely new and many although known not used. Use of these herbs and extracts has allowed him to maintain that weight easily for 2 years and still going strong at rising 76. With most people the weight is back again and more in months, it is that difficult. The reason for writing this book is to bring to attention to forced dieters that these discoveries and those that were already known will help them regain their health in most cases.view less
