She also has three stepdaughters, and two step-grandchildren. Fe Michelle received her BA in communications from Mercer University and her M.Ed from American Inter Continental University. She is a member of Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
After working in sales for more than ten years, Fe Michelle decided to pursue a career in education and served in many capacities in the public and private school sector. She has always enjoyed writing and has an extensive journal that depicts her experiences as she traveled abroad to Paris, France, The Netherlands and Switzerland.
Her novel, If Mama's Walls Could Talk...Lifting the Veil on the Life, Loves and Lessons of a Cancer Survivor, was written more than 14 years ago. Because of the pain of reliving embarrassing moments, hurt and shame, Fe Michelle discarded two manuscripts prior to this publication.
After being diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer and congestive heart failure, Fe Michelle wrote this book to encourage and enlighten other survivors by sharing her personal journey as she battled physical health problems and endured the pain and embarrassment of being in volatile relationships. If you've ever doubted that truth is stranger than fiction, read along as she recounts the memories and miracles of her life, and be prepared to be inspired by the power of prayer, praise, and God’s promise.view less
