V.M.Sang was born and brought up in Cheshire in the north west of England. She attended Northwich Grammar School before training as a teacher at Elizabeth Gaskell College, Manchester. She taught sc...view moreV.M.Sang was born and brought up in Cheshire in the north west of England. She attended Northwich Grammar School before training as a teacher at Elizabeth Gaskell College, Manchester. She taught science, maths and English to secondary pupils.
After having time out to raise two children, a girl and a boy, she returned to teaching in Hampshire in the south of England, then Croydon, South London.
She retired early and has since moved to East Sussex where she lives with her husband.
As well as writing, she enjoys walking on the Downs, kayaking and cycling. She also makes cards, knits, does cross stitch, tattong and crochet. She also likes gardening and cooking.view less
