He grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with his parents, Charles Crawford Hannah and Marion Regina Hannah; his older brother, Richard Hannah; and his younger brother, Ronald Hannah. Bob married his childhood sweetheart, Audrey Leighton, on September 17, 1944, and they had fifty-four wonderful years together. He served as a second lieutenant in the US Army during World War II, and he had a career with the Hartford Insurance Group, where he was an officer. He and Audrey raised four children—Charles, Christine, Carol, and Craig—and they lived in Simsbury, Connecticut. Bob currently resides at a retirement community in Farmington, Connecticut.view less
