He started writing music lyrics in his early twenties and didn’t write poetry until he was in his late twenties, though not seriously. He worked off and on in plastic and metal shops. He became a certified machinist at forty-one years old, and in around six months, he became disabled and could no longer work, so he turned to writing poetry seriously at the age of forty-eight. At the age of fifty, his first book, Parables of Hallow Weeping, was published. He had several more transcripts yet to be published. Among them are one that he likes to call horror poetry and a book of short stories that he’s working on. He tries to stay healthy by exercising at least three days a week, walking, and eating healthy, but sweets and alcohol can be his nemesis. He listens to classic rock and likes rum, getting caught in the rain, coffee, and sudoku puzzles. And he’s a hopeless romantic.view less
