To date he has published more than fifty titles and has won numerous prizes along the way (De Kat-debuutprys, ATKV-Veertjies, the Sanlam-Prize for youth fiction and the FNB/Kagiso-jeugromanprys. He was also a finalist in the Sanlam/Insig-, M-Net-, CAN- en ATKV-romanpryse).
