She has a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in English from Youngstown State University. She is a Northeast Ohio Writing Project fellow and a Poetry Alive! seminar participant. She has had several poems published in Ohio Teachers Write, No War, No More, Youngstown Poetry, and Mahoning Valley Poetry. She currently lives on a 30-acre farm in New Bedford, Pennsylvania, with her cat Calpurnia and her two goats Pygmalion and Billy Budd, surrounded by the beauty and wonder of nature.view less
