As my father was in the RAF, I spent my early years living in different parts of the world. I married and lived in Cambridgeshire with my husband and two children and now have four grandchildren. I now live in Stoke-on-Trent. The Rag Doll was inspired by catching sight of one in a charity shop. The look on its face seemed too creepy for a child. When I was a child, it seemed that every child had a rocking horse, so I thought it would be good to add one to the story.view less
