For nine years he lived beside the River Nile, on the outskirts of Luxor, ancient Thebes, before returning to live in the UK. This gave him the time he needed to explore many places which have never been on any tourist trail, offering him an insight into this most ancient country which only a few foreigners have ever been lucky enough to experience. It was whilst visiting temples and tombs, where he would often sit and share a tea with Egyptian gaffirs – the men who guard the ancient sites – that the ideas for his Egyptian Adventures of Kathryn Black took form. Egypt is a land brimming with stories, a land of mystery, though most of all a land of ancients.
Graham is an author, artist, photographer and enthusiastic amateur Egyptologist. His love of both storytelling and Egypt are the driving force behind his writing. Having completed the Warlock trilogy – The Luxor Curse, Death in Luxor and Luxor Lost and Found – he is currently penning his fourth novel in the Kathryn Black series. Humour, suspense, wit and friendship combine to bring you page turning stories of action, adventure and ancients – ancients who are very much living in the here and now.view less
