Griffin is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She enjoys writing, reading, singing, dancing and watching horror, action, romantic comedy, fantasy, and mystery movies and television shows.
Rosa is the author of a short story fiction collection entitled Attraction: Sexy Tales of the Good, Bad, and Ugly Relationships. The stories consist of sexual situations, romance, horror, science fiction, humor, local culture, and just a pinch of violence. In 2003, Rosa received honorable mention in a Writers’ Digest Magazine contest for “Life-Box,” a short story in the collection.
She is a graduate of Eastern Senior High School, a former all-girls school in Baltimore—what is now the Johns Hopkins Eastern campus on 33rd Street. Every time she goes there for a JH class, she remembers vividly the crying in the halls the day President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Rosa earned A.A. degrees in Human Resource Management and Secretarial Science at Baltimore City Community College.
Rosa has served as the secretary for the Black Writers’ Guild of Maryland since 2010 where she conducted a workshop on Copyright. She has also served as her community association secretary since 2009. She is Office Assistant in the JHUP Rights and Permissions department.view less
